Erbil Media City and CNN Academy Erbil collaborated to bring a 12-week journalism course held by CNN Academy to Iraq. On 9th March, they opened their doors to the first group of 18 young Iraqi journalists eager to learn from specialists from the world's largest news brand
 
Over 100 people applied, and 18 were selected to be a part of the second cohort of CNN Academy Erbil. During the program, the participants will gain knowledge from experts from the top news brands in the world and develop a valuable set of marketable talents to tell engaging stories on various platforms.
